On a local scale, EREA helps in reaching the goals of the sustainable development. For The European sustainable development week, EREA just completed the repairing of its compressed air network.
This makes it possible to answer the following points:
– To obtain clean and affordable energy ;
– To have a responsible consumption and production ;
– Industry, innovation and infrastructure.
An outdated and unmaintained compressed air network contains many leaks. A single leak can generate overconsumption of 1,200 to 120,000 kWh/year.
That repairing will enable EREA to stop wasting energy and protect employees’ ears (eliminating leaks = eliminating noise pollution of up to 90dB). Above all, it will enable us to modernize and optimize our infrastructure to meet the ever-increasing needs of our customers.
Thanks to MYLAN BEAUVAIS, Thomas Harlay, Guy, Steven Tatin and Sébastien Adonel for their work in this renovation.
